ITDRC volunteers work to identify unmet technology needs impacting the whole community, and provide technology resources and recovery assistance to communities affected by disaster.
Typical Field Operations tasks include:
Providing “smart hands” to Public Safety and Emergency Management agencies
Establishing temporary connectivity for partners providing relief
Installing WiFi and charging stations in evacuation centers and shelters for survivors
Lending IT equipment for response and recovery
